Musical Minds is a community group which meets on the first Wednesday of every month apart from January. Originally set up for the benefit of those experiencing the symptoms of dementia and their supporters it has now evolved into a monthly afternoon for anyone who enjoys listening to and joining in well loved and remembered songs. The afternoons provide a welcome chance to meet with friends for music and chat. Attendance has increased to about 50 folk including the band and the volunteers who serve the tea and coffee and biscuits.
The band comprises 3 guitarists, a mandolin player and four vocalists. Lyric sheets are handed out for those who wish to sing along with the band.
