SUMMARY:1st Stewartry Rangers
DESCRIPTION:Rangers is for girls aged 14 to 18. Rangers will wear a brand new uniform\, meet up regularly\, have fun doing activities together and be recognised for their achievements with badges and awards. Young women in Rangers will follow our programme of interest badges\, skills builders and awards and take part in amazing challenges\, travel the world and develop skills across our six themes. Ranger programme: \n\nBuild your skills – members of Rangers can take on a vast array of awards and qualifications. These range from our Leadership Qualification – which trains girls to run their own unit – to the internationally recognised Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.\nSupport your peers – want to help younger girls to navigate issues like body confidence and mental well-being? Our peer education programme gives members of Rangers the unique opportunity to provide in-unit sessions on issues that affect girls and young women.\nRaise your voice – Girlguiding is passionate about giving girls a voice. As a member of Rangers\, you could join our delegation at the British Youth Council\, or shape Girlguiding’s own policy and research as part of our fantastic Advocate panel.\nTravel the world – from working on a development project in a remote village\, to representing UK guiding at an international conference\, you’ll have the chance to take on some life-changing international adventures\n\nPlease note: Although every effort is made to ensure that the information given in this website is correct and up to date\, the Initiative cannot be held responsible for errors or omissions.
