DESCRIPTION:Brownies welcomes all girls from 7 to 10 years old (term time only) for nonstop fun\, learning and adventure. Brownies is full of firsts: your child can explore their creative side\, get out into the great outdoors\, learn how to look after themselves\, others and the world we live in. They might grow their first plant\, cook their first cake\, put up (and take down) their first tent or go on their first fun-packed weekend away with guiding friends. DESCRIPTION:Girl Guides is for girls aged 10 to 14 yrs. In Guides you’ll get out there and do something really different. You’ll create your own campaigns\, learn and share new skills and fly down the occasional zip wire. You’ll explore new places – Guides go on camps\, holidays and trips\, enjoy exciting events like our star-studded concert the BIG GIG and our music festival\, Wellies and Wristbands. You’ll never be stuck for something to do in Guides. Whether you want to dedicate your time to exploring the outdoors\, really focus on your hobbies\, or challenge yourself with something new\, you’ll find something at Guides that suits you. You can work towards interest badges – about photography\, geocaching\, human rights and more\, develop life skills with skills builders and work hard to earn unique awards like the Commonwealth award\, the Guide Gold award and the six Theme awards\, which will really help you at school and later in life. There are also international opportunities like the International Community Experience (ICE). ICE is an exciting three-stage project open to Girlguiding members aged 11-13. It brings Guides together from all over Scotland to have fun while doing something for others.
